为了改变文吏政治造成的弊端,范仲淹等人主张通过兴学培养富有远见的儒学之士,“文吏—儒生”矛盾贯穿于庆历兴学的始末。嘉祐二年贡举的成功以及嘉祜三年进士高科入仕等级的降低,均与庆历兴学后士人数量的增加紧密相关。嘉祐以来王安石在心性之学上有了新的开拓,弥补此前教育道德心性之学的缺失,是熙宁兴学再出发的原因之一。
In order to change the malpractices caused by the politics of the civil servants, Fan Zhongyan and others advocated fostering visionary scholars of Confucianism through Xingxue, and the contradictions of “civil servants - Confucian scholars” permeated throughout the Qing and Xing schools. The success of Jiayou’s two-year tribute and the downgrade of Jiacheng’s three-year high school rankings were closely related to the increase of the number of scholars after the Qing Dynasty Xingxue School.
