《自治区实施〈残疾人保障法〉办法》(以下简称《办法》)于2012年3月28日经自治区十一届人大常委会第三十五次会议审议通过,于5月1日起施行。《办法》的出台对维护自治区一百多万残疾人的合法权益,保障残疾人平等、充分地参与社会活动,提高残疾人的社会地位和生活水平,推进残疾人事业持续快速发展起到了重要作用。
The Measures for the Implementation of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Protection of Persons with Disabilities (hereinafter referred to as the Measures) were examined and passed by the 35th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Eleventh National People’s Congress on March 28, 2012 and will come into effect on May 1. The promulgation of the Measures has played an important role in safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of over one million disabled people in the autonomous region, ensuring the equality of disabled people, fully participating in social activities, improving the social status and living standard of the disabled, and promoting the sustained and rapid development of the disabled people. .
