为了配合农垦系统进行爱国主义、社会主义和艰苦奋斗的思想教育,为给基层干部提供一些思想政治工作的基本教材,本刊从今年第二期开始,设立《国情教育》专栏。我们将以较丰富的资料和明确的立论,向农垦企业广大干部、职工介绍我国的基本国情。其内容主要分两大部分,一是政治国情,即结合鸦片战争后近百年历史和新中国成立40年的历史事实,阐明只有社会主义才能救中国和只有坚持四项基本原则才是立国之本的道理;二是自然国情,既看到我们的优势,也看到我们的不足,从而树立坚定地走改革开放的强国之路的决心,自觉地持久地发扬艰苦奋斗的光荣传统。我们将尽全力办好这一专栏,使之受到基层干部的欢迎。
In order to coordinate ideological and political education on patriotism, socialism and hard struggle with the State Farms System, we will provide grassroots cadres basic textbooks on ideological and political work. Starting from the second phase of this year, we have set up a special column on “national conditions education.” We will, with a wealth of information and clear arguments, introduce the basic national conditions of our country to the vast numbers of cadres and workers in the enterprises engaged in land reclamation. The content is mainly divided into two parts. First, political conditions, that is, combining the historical facts about nearly a hundred years after the Opium War and the 40 years since the founding of New China, clarifying that only socialism can save China and adhering to the four cardinal principles is the foundation of establishing a nation. The second is a natural national condition that not only sees our advantages but also sees our shortcomings so as to establish our determination to firmly walk the road of reform and opening up to a powerful nation and consciously and consistently carry forward the glorious tradition of arduous struggle. We will do our best to run this column so that it will be welcomed by grassroots cadres.
