我们面临着一个“信息爆炸”的时代。提供新闻信息的传媒,除报纸、电视、广播电台外,互联网作为第四传媒正迅速崛起。即使单就传统媒体报纸而言,亦不断扩张。其一是品种增加,至1998年底,全国共出版报纸2053种(据《中国新闻年鉴》1999年版);其二是各报竞相扩版,动辄几十个版的报纸不再鲜见。受众接受新闻信息的时间是有限的,如何才能使一条新闻引起受众的注意
We are facing an era of “information explosion.” The media that provide news and information, in addition to newspapers, television, radio stations, the Internet as the fourth media is rapidly rising. Even in the case of traditional media newspapers alone, it is constantly expanding. One is the increase of varieties. By the end of 1998, 2,053 newspapers were published nationwide (according to the “China News Almanac” 1999 edition); the other was that newspapers were competing to expand their editorials, and that newspapers of dozens of editions were no longer rare. The time for the audience to receive news and information is limited, and how to make a piece of news arouse the attention of the audience
