动物化石在我国民间又被叫做“龙骨”,并且我国自古即有“龙骨”入药的传统。先秦时的名医扁鹊曾以之入药;秦人假托神农所作的《神农本草经》中也有相类似的药案。有研究资料表明,自20世纪50年代末至今,仅我国甘肃省和政地区出土的古动物化石,按最保守的估计也不会少于1500吨,堪称举世奇观,然而其中2/3的“龙骨”却被当做药材吃掉了。和政属于国家级贫困地区,当地党政机关为保护这一国宝投入了巨大财力物力,甚至搭进了全县公职人员的工资。近日,署有5位院士签名的一封向党中央呼吁信已经发出……
