夏季来临,降雨明显增多,大量的降雨易造成路面积水和驾驶员视线不良。据发达国家一项统计表明,雨天高等级公路事故危险性要比不下雨时增加2-3倍。雨天,路面被淋湿后,会附着一层薄薄的水膜,这会导致路面因磨擦系数减小而变滑。水膜越厚,车速越快,这种影响就越大。如果路面上有泥土,则会混合成泥浆,比单纯雨水膜的威胁还要大。雨天路面变滑给高速行车带来的主要影响有:(1)延长制动距离。当路面积水为2cm时,紧急制动距离可延长250-300cm。(2)易发生侧滑和甩尾。主要发生在车辆制动时,使车辆失控导致事故。
