冰天雪地,白雪皑皑,在地球最寒冷的北极地区生活着一种当地最大的食肉动物,它们除鼻子和掌心为黑色以外,全身上下披覆白毛,俗称“白熊”,学名“北极熊”。成年北极熊身高3.3米,体重500-800千克,食量很大,一次要吃40千克食物。如此庞大的动物能在高寒极地生存下来,堪称生物进化史上的一大奇迹,它带给人类许多深刻的启示。
