河北画院始建于20世纪80年代,是中国改革开放后最早创建的省级画院之一,也是一个集美术创作、研究、组织、指导、培训等各项功能于一身的事业单位。河北画院现位于河北省石家庄市世纪公园对面,占地面积16亩,拥有1300平方米的业务楼和3140平方米的河北美术馆及附属设施,是省会人民参观画展及从事美术交流活动的中心场所。画院现有编制在职人员24人、离退休干部20人。建院之初,群英荟萃,河北省一大批在海内外享有盛誉的艺术家齐聚一堂。从延安鲁艺时期的老干部闫肃先生,到20世纪80年代初毕业于中央美术学院的谷爱萍、王少军等青年画家,老、中、青
Founded in the 1980s, Hebei Fine Art Academy is one of the first provincial-level art academies established after China’s reform and opening up.
