广州市马列主义毛泽东思想研究会于5月9日举行学习邓小平同志南巡重要谈话座谈会。到会的有广州市党校系统、宣传系统、大专院校、市社科联、《广州日报》的理论工作者和实际工作者近50人。与会者普遍认为,邓小平同志南方之行的重要谈话立意高,观点新,指导性强,是对建设有中国特色社会主义理论的重大发展,具有极其深远的战略意义。在一定意义上来说,全面理解、深刻领会这次重要谈话,是继真理标准讨论之后又一次思想解放运动。
On May 9, the Guangzhou Marxist-Leninist Mao Zedong Thought Research Society held a forum on studying important Deng Xiaoping's southern tour talk. At the meeting, there are nearly 50 theoretical and practical workers in the party school system, publicity system, universities and colleges, Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Union, and Guangzhou Daily. The participants generally agreed that Comrade Deng Xiaoping's important talk in his visit to the South is of high strategic significance, new viewpoint and strong guidance and is a major development in the theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. In a certain sense, a comprehensive understanding and deep understanding of this important speech are another emancipation of the mind after discussion of the truth standards.
