在核桃树高接改造工作中,目前采用的是主干单头高接,胸径8cm以上的低产核桃树采用主干单头高接,其嫁接口愈合不完整,嫁接口处的砧木普遍有腐烂现象,树势衰弱,挂果少,嫁接后2~3a部分树陆续死亡。笔者于2012—2014年对胸径8cm以上的低产核桃树进行主枝多头高接试验,结果表明:采用主枝多头高接,降低了砧木嫁接口的直径,嫁接伤口愈合效果好,保存率高,树势恢复快,挂果量明显增加。
