由于当前各级防汛机构人员新老交替,年轻的领导干部和职工防汛抢险知识不足,为了提高防汛队伍的抢险知识水平和交流抢险经验,省防汛防旱防风总指挥部办公室于3月8日至11日在南海县官山举办了防汛抢险知识培训班及研讨会;全省18个市的三防办公室及北江大堤,东—深工程管理局,潮安南北堤、佛山大堤、中顺大围、樵桑联围、江新联围管理处等单位的领导和技术干部参加了培训班及研讨会。培训班由我省水利老前辈祁国英、黄执、陈浩标同志主讲防汛抢险知识,并请潮州、肇庆等地的代表介绍本地区的防汛抢险经验。会议期间,省三防总指挥部副指挥谢汉祥同志到会作了讲话,与会代表讨论热烈,并表示会后一定要根据省三防办公室的要求,分级办好防汛抢险知识的培训工作。
