The Münchberg massif is a amphibolite facies metamorphic crystalline basement that was struck in extremely low-grade Paleozoic volcanic-sedimentary rocks. Eclogites are lenticular or interlayered in amphibolite, gneiss and marble. The primary mineral assemblage of eclogites is garnet, omphacite, quartz and rutile, which can contain a small amount of kyanite, phengite and zoisite. The peak metamorphism temperature is 600 ~ 700 ℃, pressure> 2 .5GPa, close to the stable range of coesite. During the uplift of the eclogite, the metamorphism of the eclogites to the amphibolite facies, the greenschist facies and the gravel greenstone was experienced. The early degeneration of the role of nearly isothermal blood pressure process, the late step-down and rapid cooling process.
