Objective To investigate the neurobehavioral effects and biological monitoring of long-term exposure to low concentrations of TNT. Methods WHO-NCTB was used to measure the early neurobehavioral changes in workers exposed to TNT and workers’ urine samples were collected to determine the urinary 2,6-dinitro-4-aminotoluene (DNAT) content. Results (1) Long-term exposure to low concentrations of TNT can affect neurological behavior. Mainly for the increase of inertia, memory and exercise stability decreased. (2) The urinary DNAT content increased obviously, and there was some contact-effect relationship with NCTB score. Conclusion Neurobehavioral testing can be used as a test to detect early effects of exposure to TNT workers. NCTB score and urine DNAT content has a good correlation between the urine DNAT content can reflect the level of workers exposure
