现今社会对科技人员应具备的能力提出了越来越高、越来越全面的要求。市场竞争的核心已转为创新能力的竞争,目前我国在基础教育中,包括高校的素质教育课程设置状况,大都以提高人文素质教育为主,对科技素质教育有所忽视。不可否认,通过人文素质教育,有助于培养大学生的爱国主义情感,提高人际交往能力,生存能力等,但应该看到,科学技术,特别是高科技的迅猛发展,使我们面临的是一个以高科技为主要发展方向的知识经济时代。知识经济显著特征就是创新,创新是一个民族的灵魂。创新意味着领先,是科学素质的综合体现。而良好的科技素质的养成,除了专业知识和专业训练之外,还要有意识地进行科技素质方面的长期教育。
Nowadays, the society demands more and more and more and more comprehensive capabilities of the scientists and technicians. The core of market competition has shifted to the competition of innovative abilities.
