步行是最好的运动世界卫生组织1992年提出“世界上最好的运动是步行”。20世纪20年代初,美国著名心脏病学家怀特博士第一个提出:步行是最好的运动。他认为进行步行锻炼,能预防动脉粥样硬化,并创造性地将步行锻炼作为心脏病和心肌梗塞后的康复治疗,取得了良好效果。他说“步行是我的保健医”。洪昭光教授认为“步行应成为老人良好的保健运动,是心血管病有效的预防措施”。
