漂浮在海洋上的巨大冰块和冰山,受风和流作用而产生的运动,其推力与冰块的大小和流速有关。据1971年冬位于中国渤海湾的新“海二井”平台上观测结果计算出,一块6千米见方,高度为1.5米的大冰块,在流速不太大的情况下,其推力可达4000吨,足以推倒石油平台等海上工程建筑物。
