French diplomat and poet Saint-Joan Pace completed the Nobel Prize-winning prize “Anabas” after more than 40 years in a Taoist temple from 1916 to 1921 in the northwestern suburbs of Beijing. The border leading to the Gobi Desert from the suburb of Beijing has also spurred on his journey to explore the mysterious hinterland of Mongolia.
