人民教育出版社历史编辑室原副主任、《历史教学》月刊编委、著名史学家、教育家邱汉生同志因病于1992年6月18日逝世,终年81岁。邱汉生,江苏海门人,生于1912年2月。1932年毕业于上海大夏大学国文系。兹后,从事教育事业二十载,桃李满天下。1946年加入中国共产党。1954年调任人教社历史编辑室副主任。以后又兼任中国社会科学院历史所研究员、中国社会科学院研究生院教授等多种职务。
