在数字显示技术中,由于大多数传感器的输出信号与被测参数之间呈非线性关系。如热电偶的输出电压、热电阻的阻值与被测温度之间就是非线性关系。为保证系统能进行数字显示应具有一定的精度等级,就必须要进行线性化处理。在数字线性化技术中有计算法、数据查表法和插值法。而英国ABBEY电气公司的MKⅢ型温度显示器中采用的是脉冲数字量的线性化技术。其方块图见图1。它的中心部件是脉冲系数乘法器和PROM可编程只读存储器。其原理图见图2。本电路采用的是16进制的脉冲系数乘法器有4条系数M输入端(ABCD)其输出脉冲数R_out与输入脉冲数R_in关系为
