资源,只有开发利用才能变成财富。在改革浪潮的冲击下,各行各业都相当注重发挥本行业的资源优势,为社会创造更多的财富。档案作为一种信息资源,已逐渐为人们所认识。作为贮存、处理、传递档案信息的职能部门——地方综合性档案馆,充分认识馆藏档案信息资源优势,更好地发挥档案信息资源的作用,是个值得重视的问题。笔者认为,地方综合性档案馆贮存的档案信息资源具有以下三个方面的优势。
