我校地处城乡结合部,初中生源三分之二是外来工子女,学生知识基础差,数学成绩呈“中、下”状态的学生所占比例比较大,提高这部分学生的学习质量是摆在我们数学教师面前的艰巨任务。面对这一严峻的现实,在新课程理念下,笔者除了遵循教学规律,认真钻研新课标和教材外,更主要的是根据初中生的特点,努力改进教学方法,通过几年的教学改革和实践,成绩显著,所教班级成绩明显提高,如2011届初三(5)、(6)两班,通过三年的教学参加中考两班平均分、及格率、优秀率均超过市平均水平,下面就改进教学方法,大面积提高“中、下”状态学生初中数学教学质量过程谈一些做法和体会。
