6月19日,黑龙江发生英语四级考试作弊案,388人被查处。但类似弊案年年发生,事出何因?受访的作弊者居然从自己的作弊经历中发现了商机,也想加入作弊产业。英语四级考试前,湖南长沙的高校大三学生许诚,花300元买了块“很不普通”的橡皮。6月19日上午全国英语四级考试时,他揭开橡皮表面的小盖子,内置其中的液晶屏就显出一列数字,它们代表着四级考试的答案序号。也是在同一天,黑龙江省发生数百大学生在四级考试中作弊的事件。6月20日,黑龙江查处其中388人。但更多像许诚这样的作弊者没有被发现。
On June 19, an English CET 4 cheating case occurred in Heilongjiang and 388 people were investigated and dealt with. But what are the causes of similar malpractices? The interviewed cheaters actually found business opportunities from their cheating experiences and also wanted to join the cheating industry. Before the English CET, Xu Cheng, a junior college student in Changsha, Hunan Province, spent 300 yuan on a piece of rubber “very ordinary” rubber. On the morning of June 19, when he took the CET4 exam, he unveiled a small cover on the rubber surface. The built-in LCD screen showed a series of numbers that represented the serial numbers of the four exams. Also on the same day, hundreds of students in Heilongjiang Province cheated in the four exams. June 20, Heilongjiang investigated 388 of them. But more cheaters like Xu Cheng have not been found.
