冯锐教授是“张衡地动仪科学复原研究”项目的负责人。项目最近完成后,国内外已有很多报道,专业论文从今年底才能由学术刊物陆续发表,中学老师未必能及时涉及。根据北京师大附中王树声老师的建议,冯教授特将研究成果的主要内容写成比较通俗的文章交由本刊发表(亦同意其他媒体予以转载或节选),希望借本刊的影响力广而告之于全国的中学师生。编辑部认为,冯教授的举动既关联着高端科学研究,又关联着科学知识普及,深蕴着对人文教育的关怀和强烈的社会责任感,意义之大是不言而喻的。
Professor Feng Rui is “Zhang Heng Earthquake Science Recovery Research ” project leader. After the project has been completed recently, there have been many reports both at home and abroad. Only by the end of this year can professional papers be published in academic journals, and secondary school teachers may not be able to timely address them. According to the suggestion of Wang Shusheng, an appendage of Beijing Normal University, Professor Feng specially wrote the main contents of the research results into the more popular articles for publication in the journal (agreeing to be reproduced or excerpted by other media) Middle school teachers and students in the country. The editorial department believes that Professor Feng’s move is not only related to the high-end scientific research, but also relates to the popularization of scientific knowledge, profound humanistic education and a strong sense of social responsibility, it is self-evident.
