重庆市为西南地区最大的工业城市。市中区人口多,人口密度每平方公里超过十万,为全国第一。市内区高房林立,校舍拥挤,很多教室光线较差、青少年近视眼发病率一直很高。我院每年按指定地区都要接受市中区部分高考学生的体检。历年来,由于考生的视力不足而致专业受限的问题十分突出。特别是近三年,考生视力下降情况已达到相当惊人的地步。笔者从1981年～1990年,参加了对视力不足考生(即裸眼视力低于1.0者)的屈光矫正工作。现收集有关资料,对1981年～1990年在我院参加高考体检的学生的眼屈光情况进行回顾分析,从而探讨学生
