当我们处在一个习惯了排挤某人的环境中,善良似乎就成为了一种奢侈品。我们羞于表达善意,羞于保护弱者,只因为我们试图保住自己在集体中的一个位置。
Goodness seems to be a luxury when we are in an environment used to squeezing someone. We are ashamed to express our goodwill and ashamed to protect the weak because we are trying to keep ourselves in a position in the community.
