采用平板铸件法测定了珍珠岩、发泡石膏、陶瓷棉三种保温材料和湿砂型的热物理系数.从砂型铸件的凝固特点出发,提出了保温冒口的计算方法并利用测得的热物理系数对纯铝立方体铸件做了验证,实验结果与计算相符:珍珠岩和发泡石膏保温冒口比普通冒口约小七倍,陶瓷棉保温冒口约小八倍.最后对保温冒口的效能进行了理论分析,说明形成集中缩孔的合金铸件采用保温冒口,可以显著提高生产率和铸件实收率,节省金属熔化和切割冒口费用,减少金属损耗.
