多穗玉米是草料兼用的杂交种,具有强分蘖、多果穗、植株高大、茎叶产量高等特点,是颇有潜力的青饲料品种。为了摸清多穗玉米在我区的栽培特点、生育规律、主要经济性状及生产潜力等,我所于1984年春试种了4个多穗玉米品种及墨西哥饲用玉米,为推广提供科学依据。结果初报如下。
Multi-spike corn is a hybrid with forage. It has the characteristics of strong tillers, many ears, tall plants and high yield of stems and leaves. It is a potential green feed. In order to find out the characteristics of multi-spike corn cultivation in our region, the law of birth, the main economic traits and production potential, we planted four multi-spike corn varieties and Mexican feed corn in the spring of 1984 to provide a scientific basis for the promotion. The results reported below.
