笔者根据《本草纲目》中陈皮一两,甘草一钱治疗产后吹奶(乳痈)的记载,改二药用量之比例为2:1.并酌加清热解毒及舒肝解郁之药,用以治疗哺乳期急性乳腺炎初起,乳房体积增大,内有硬结,表面发红发热,疼痛剧烈而未化脓毒,一般当日肿痛即可明显缓解,二到三日便可痊愈。自73年至今屡投屡验,确有卓效。方药组成:陈皮60～120克,甘草30～60克,银花30克,连翘15克,公英30克,柴胡15克,生大黄3～
