1993年2月22～25日在宁夏固原县召开了六盘山引水工程可行性论证评审会。来自北京、上海、杭州的11位专家汇同宁夏有关专家和有关人员共60多人认真听取了汇报、考察了现场。与会代表对目前固原地区由于缺水而长期贫困深有感触,认为必须尽快兴建六盘山引水工程以使固原地区尽早脱贫。六盘山引水工程采用高水位引灌自流,引水隧洞洞线采取截弯取直,并引进国外双护盾掘进机及其系统进行施工,能节约大量资金和缩短工期,在工程施工技术上是一次飞跃。工程取水系统采取长滕结瓜方法也是行之有效的。(薛)
