Intel Corporation announced the 450MHz Pentium II processor for high-performance computers, entry-level servers and workstations, as well as two 333MHz and 300MHz Intel Celeron processors for base PCs. All three processors end the Intel line of desktop processors for 1998. The 450MHz Intel Pentium II processor is Intel Corp.’s fastest processor to date, nearly 10% faster than the 400MHz Pentium II processor.
