该系统支持位于不同地方的用户通过连入Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ的站点进行交互，利用ＷＹＳＩＷＩＳ的共享窗口以及实时的语音和视频完成用户之间的协同工作，并在ＴＣＰ／ＩＰ协议的基础上实现了支持ＣＳＣＷ的远程通信协议扩展。
The system supports users in different places to interact through the Internet connected to the site, the use of WYSIWIS shared windows and real-time voice and video to complete the collaboration between users and in the TCP / IP protocol to achieve support for CSCW Remote communication protocol extension.
