由中华人民共和国文化部和中国美术家协会主办的“第九届全国美术作品展览”,经过一年多的紧张筹备,终于在国庆50周年前夕的9月份,陆续在全国各展区隆重开幕了。 这是建国以来举办的规模最大的一次全国美展,参展的画种有中国画、油画、版画、雕塑、水彩、粉画、漆画、年画、连环画、宣传画、插图、漫画,以及首次列入的艺术设计。港、澳、台画家的作品还单独安排了一个邀请展。参展的作品数量,据不完全统计,共有3249件。
The Ninth National Art Exhibition, hosted by the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China and the Chinese Artists Association, finally made its grand opening in September in the eve of the 50th anniversary of the National Day after more than a year of intense preparations. This is the largest national art exhibition ever held since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Its paintings include Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, sculpture, watercolor, powder painting, lacquer painting, New Year paintings, comics, posters, illustrations, comic books, Art Design. Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan painter’s work also arranged a solo exhibition. The number of exhibiting works, according to incomplete statistics, a total of 3249 pieces.
