从社会发展和学科史的进程来看,比较文学大致经历了欧洲范围内的“跨国别”、以西方为中心的“跨区域”和“跨学科”及全球多元化时代的“跨文明”这样几个阶段。比较文学的跨文明研究既是人类交往的历史必然和学科发展的客观需要,同时也反映了文学互动和对话的内在需求。本文提出比较文学跨文明研究的意义和目标在于:以人类既往的多元文明为前提,通过比较、对话,促进文学创作、文学理论和文学批评交融兼顾地朝向“不同而和”的境界迈进,使人类社会的审美世界既保持各自个性又能相互沟通,从而迎接人类拥有“共同诗心”的时代早日到来。
From the perspective of social development and the history of the discipline, comparative literature has generally experienced “cross-country” within Europe, the “cross-regional” and “interdisciplinary” centers of the West, and the era of global diversification “Cross-civilization ” such a few stages. The cross-civilization study of comparative literature is not only the historical inevitability of human interaction and the objective need of the subject development, but also reflects the intrinsic demand of the interaction and dialogue of literature. This paper proposes that the significance and goal of cross-civilization research in comparative literature are as follows: taking the past as the precondition of human civilization, by means of comparison, dialogue, promotion of literary creation, literary theory and literary criticism, So that the aesthetic world of human society will not only maintain its own individuality but also communicate with each other so as to welcome the early arrival of mankind’s “common poetic heart.”
