Foreword Voice is a major limiting factor for either type of measurement. Medical ultrasound imaging consists of the following three measurements: time measurement to determine echo depth, transducer angle and position measurement to determine echo position, and evaluation of reflector properties and grayscale display Amplitude measurement. These measurements contain random errors. To obtain quantitative data on the performance of the imaging system, we have established a method of measuring echo amplitude and echo arrival time distribution. The quantitative description of random noise can usually be given from the complete knowledge of statistical distributions and, in some cases, average and standard deviation knowledge.
