我大队在上级党委的领导下,依靠合作医疗、赤脚医生,发动群众开展了头癣普查普治工作。经过同志们的努力,在短期内基本上治愈了全大队头癣病人。当治疗头癣工作一开始,就得到广大群众特别是头癣病人的热烈欢迎,也有少数人认为现在革命、生产任务紧,而头癣病又不威胁生命,不是当前迫切需要解决的事。在赤脚医生中也有些顾虑,怕灰黄霉素需要量大,经费负扭重。我们针对这些思想分别召开党员干部会、赤脚医生、卫生员、理发员,病人及病人家属座谈会及全大队群众大会,大力宣传毛主席关于医疗卫生工作的指示,贯彻自力更生、艰苦奋斗、中西结合、土洋并举的方针,大讲普查普治头癣病的重大意
