在各级党委、政府的高度重视和全省人民的共同努力下,我省的造林绿化工作取得了很大成绩。目前,全省森林覆盖率已达到59.4％,在全国名列前茅。预计到年底,可以基本实现省委、省政府1989年提出的“十年绿化浙江”的目标。 在充分肯定“十年绿化浙江”的成绩的同时,对存在的问题要高度重视。当前,水土保持和生态保护方面还存在不少问题,有的还相当突出,工作任务仍然十分艰巨,丝毫松懈不得。 党中央、国务院对生态环境问题历来十分重视,总书记、总理亲自调查研究,在不同场合多次要求全党重视生态环境治理,
With the great importance attached by the party committees and governments at all levels and the concerted efforts of the people of the province, great achievements have been made in afforestation in our province. At present, the province’s forest coverage rate has reached 59.4%, among the best in the country. It is estimated that by the end of the year, the goal of “greening Zhejiang in a decade” put forward by the provincial party committee and government in 1989 will be basically achieved. While fully affirming the achievements of “ten years of greening Zhejiang”, we should attach great importance to the existing problems. At present, there are still many problems in soil and water conservation and ecological protection, and some of them are still quite prominent. The tasks of the work are still very arduous and can not be slackened at all. The Central Party Committee and the State Council have always attached great importance to the issue of ecological environment. The general secretary and the Premier personally investigated and studied on various occasions and demanded that the whole party attach importance to the management of the ecological environment on many occasions.
