1985年,宿州市市政工程公司使用乳化沥青混凝土铺筑路面,改热拌为冷拌,一年内,基本改变了全市的道路面貌,深受广大群众欢迎。使用乳化沥青混凝土铺筑路面,是在常温下进行的,俗称冷拌冷铺。对于乳化沥青混凝土的拌和,目前国内还没有专门的机械设备,我们大胆地采用了强制式水泥混凝土搅拌机进行拌和乳化沥青混凝土。初步解决了拌和的机械设备,并尝到了冷拌冷铺的甜头。其拌和方法是:先将级配好的混合料装入料斗,送入搅拌机拌匀,再将稳定剂水溶液倒入混合料中,湿润均匀,最好将乳化沥青加入混合料拌匀,即为乳化沥青混凝土,从上料到出料的时间约为2～3分钟/盘,其中拌和时间为20～30秒/盘。
