探索与开发是优化组织创新能力结构的基本活动,现有研究多关注双元能力结构对绩效的影响效果,对二元张力协调机制的研究多集中于理论层面,尤其缺乏双元能力结构关系的前因探索与实证研究。基于创新能力结构视角,本文构建了跨界搜寻影响双元能力结构与绩效的协调机制,并以浙江、广东、山东地区的338个制造业企业样本,探讨了基于组织—技术维度的跨界搜寻对双元能力结构的影响,以及双元能力平衡与互动对企业财务与创新绩效的作用效果。研究表明,跨界搜寻是协调双元能力结构的关键举措,科技驱动型跨界搜寻对双元能力平衡与互动均有显著的正向影响,产品技术、共性技术导向跨界搜寻分别对双元能力平衡、互动产生显著的正向影响;双元能力平衡与互动关系均对创新绩效具有显著的正向影响,但双元能力平衡却对财务绩效存在显著的负向影响。同时,双元能力平衡在科技驱动型跨界搜寻与企业绩效之间起部分或完全中介作用,双元能力互动分别在科技驱动型、共性技术导向跨界搜寻与创新绩效关系中起部分和完全中介作用。研究结论拓展了双元能力结构的协调机制与研究视角,丰富了中国情境下组织双元性领域的实证研究。
Exploration and development are the basic activities to optimize the structure of organizational innovation capability. The existing researches pay more attention to the impact of the dual capability structure on performance. Based on the structure of innovation capability, this paper constructs a cross-border search for the coordination mechanism that affects the dual capability structure and performance. The research shows that cross-border search is the key measure to coordinate the dual capability structure. Technology-driven cross-border search has a significant positive impact on the balance and interaction of dual capabilities. Product technology, common technology-oriented cross-border search, Ability balance and interaction have a significant positive impact. Both dual-capability balance and interaction have a significant positive impact on innovation performance, but dual capacity balance has a significant negative impact on financial performance. At the same time, dual-element balance of power plays a partial or complete intermediary role between technology-driven cross-border search and business performance. Dual elemental interaction plays a partial and complete role in the relationship between technology-driven, common technology-oriented cross-border search and innovation performance Mediating Role. The conclusion of the research expands the coordination mechanism and research perspective of dual capability structure, and enriches the empirical research on the duality of organization in Chinese context.
