这次会議是在全面大躍进的形势下召开的。会議共开了十天。先虚后实,有虛有实,开得很好。会議展开了大鳴大放。前后共貼出大字报兩千四百多張,提出意見达兩千四百多条。經过辯論,多数同志从思想上、观点上明确了档案工作为誰服务,档案工作在各項工作中的地位和对于“領導重視”的認識等几个問题。思想开始解放了,方向初步明确了。通过討論,明确了档案工作“以利用方綱”的方針和任务,制定了全省一九五八年档案工作的躍进計划,交流了工作經驗。这就是这次会議的主要收获。其次,会議对省的档案業务主管部門也提出不少批評和建設性的意見,这些意見,对于改进全省今后档案業务的指导工作,無疑是有很大好处的。

This is the main achievement of this meeting. Secondly, the meeting also put forward many criticisms and constructive comments on the archives departments in the province. These opinions undoubtedly have great benefits for improving the guidance of archives in the province in the future.
