文明是人类智慧的物化,它是人类一切精神和物质创造的总和。在人类历史发展中,奴隶文明的鼎盛是古罗马;封建文明的巅峰则是古代中国;近现代,欧美又创造出发达的资本主义文明,而中国正成为当今世界构建社会主义文明的大国。这一历史轨迹表明东西方文明是交替上升发展的。这种历史现象是偶然的巧合,还是在经历了几千年的无数个“偶然性”过程之后呈现出的必然性趋
Civilization is the materialization of human wisdom, which is the sum of all human spirits and material creation. In the historical development of mankind, the heyday of slave civilization was ancient Rome; the pinnacle of feudal civilization was ancient China; and in the modern times, the developed capitalist civilizations were also created in Europe and the United States. China is becoming a great power in building a socialist civilization in the world today. This historical trajectory shows that the Eastern and Western civilizations are alternately rising and developing. Is this historical phenomenon an accidental coincidence, or is it an inevitable trend after countless thousands of “accidental” processes
