In 1995, a total of 10 cooperation projects were initiated by 10 vehicle manufacturers and 10 component suppliers of the North Rhine-Westphalia Joint Research Center (VIANRW). The goal is to have long-lasting cost containment by reducing the number of varieties through reasonable standardization together in the vehicle manufacturing industry. The result goes without saying that automakers and accessory suppliers can virtually reduce the number of auto parts by two-thirds. However, God’s customers are almost indifferent to these measures. These programs are part of Vettellan’s GPS consulting company, which has succeeded in collaborating with support from both methodologies and systems technologies.
