截止到2000年底,经国家批准或备案的中国境外投资企业共计已达6296家,协议投资金额112亿美元,其中中方投资76亿美元。对外投资的快速增长,投资规模和领域的不断扩大,使得我国企业参与国际竞争的能力有了较大提高,为我国拓展对外经济技术合作,在更大范围和更深程度参与国际竞争与合作奠定了基础。
By the end of 2000, 6296 overseas Chinese-funded enterprises approved or filing by the state had reached a total of 6296 with an investment of 11.2 billion U.S. dollars, of which China invested 7.6 billion U.S. dollars. The rapid growth of foreign investment, the continuous expansion of investment scale and fields have greatly enhanced our country’s ability to participate in international competition and laid the foundation for China to expand its foreign economic and technological cooperation and participate in international competition and cooperation on a larger scale and at a deeper level basis.
