在1990年代以来的革命历史题材小说中,对身体的表现往往十分醒目,这和1950年代到1970年代的“革命历史小说”形成了鲜明的对比。在刑罚、爱情等情节中,关于身体、欲望的描写不再瞩意于塑造革命者“受苦受难”的崇高形象,而是潜在地对革命历史进行祛魅。在市场化的时代语境中,当身体描写纯粹降格为肉体描写不再承担任何思想意义时,祛魅便意外地通向了媚俗。这在呈示当前身体描写驳杂状况的同时,也触及了现代性自身的悖论。
In the revolutionary historical novels since the 1990s, the performance of the body is often very striking, which is in stark contrast to the “revolutionary historical novel” from the 1950s to the 1970s. In the plots such as punishment and love, the depiction of the body and the desire no longer focuses on the lofty image of the revolutionary “suffering and suffering”, but potentially disenchants the revolutionary history. In the context of a market-oriented era, disenchantment unexpectedly leads to kitsch when body descriptions are simply reduced to physical description and no longer assume any ideological significance. This presents the paradox of modernity itself while presenting the current state of physical description of miscellaneous things.
