公外英语作为国家学历教育的基础课程,是确保培养规格、实现培养目标的关键。因此,加强公外英语教学管理是稳步提高成人高校教育教学质量和水平的重要途径。本文通过展示国家改革开放和社会经济发展的前景对中高级人才外语素质的要求,阐述了成人高校加强公外英语教学管理的重要意义;通过主、客观因素的分析,探讨了造成目前成人高校公外英语教学水平低下的主要原因;继而试图探寻强化公外英语教学管理的有效措施。
As the basic course of national academic education, public English is the key to ensure that the specifications are upheld and training objectives are achieved. Therefore, to strengthen public English teaching management is an important way to steadily improve the quality and level of adult higher education. By demonstrating the requirements of foreign language qualifications of middle and senior talented persons in the foreground of national reform and opening up and socio-economic development, this paper expounds the significance of adult English teaching management in public colleges and universities. By analyzing the main factors and objective factors, The main reason for the low level of English teaching in other countries; and then trying to find out the effective measures to strengthen the management of teaching English as a foreign language.
