我国经济理论界最早提出发挥中心城市的作用和重视中心城市的改革,可以追溯到1979年。整个80年代,关于中心城市经济理论和经济体制改革的研究,都是我国经济学界关注的一个重点。理论界在这方面所作出的许多艰苦而又富有成效的探索,形成了不少最新的有价值的科学研究成果,其中,相当一部分已为党和政府所采纳,协助党中央、国务院作出了一系列关于发挥城市,尤其是中心城市作用的重要决策。从1981年全国五届人大四次会议提出“以大中城市为依托,形成各类经济中心,组织合理的经济网络”开始,到1987年党的第十三次代表大会,几乎每次
China’s economic theorists first proposed to play the role of a central city and emphasis on the reform of the central city, dating back to 1979. Throughout the 1980s, studies on the economic theory of the central cities and the reform of the economic system were all the focuses of our economists. Many arduous and fruitful explorations made by theorists in this field have formed quite a few new and valuable scientific research achievements. A considerable part of them have been adopted by the party and the government to assist the Party Central Committee and the State Council in making a Series of important decisions on the role of cities, especially central cities.
