合不上的触电保护器量入为出、勤俭节约,是传统中国人信奉的一个美德。几千年来,中国人一向以欠债为耻、不欠债为荣。负债消费,这一“寅吃卯粮”的消费方式,绝大多数中国人的心理必然不能接受。即便是勇于尝鲜的上海人,不少也还是心有余悸。从上海各特约商店的销售表上可以看出,去年分期付款的销售额仅占零售总额的1.5%。很多的上海人心中似乎有着一个合不上的触电保护器。

A lot of people in Shanghai seem to have an incomparable electric shock protector.
