在传统孝道的丰富内涵中,“追孝”、“不朽”、与“继后”等观念,具有鲜明的生命本体意识。从时间的维度说,它落实了人们对生命本源的追寻;从逻辑的结构看,它解决了个体生命存在的根据与个体生命的本质等问题。由于在这些观念中始终隐含着“生命的永恒”这一话题,所以其宗教性色彩又非常浓烈。
