广播电视、报纸刊物的受众.只要留心,不难发现猎奇编造、“合理想象”、道听途说的失实报道.报道失实,便造成很坏的影响.如某市一家报纸在头版刊登这样的消息:某地庙人一个洞穴里藏着两条大花蟒,晚上爬出来糟蹋庄稼.伤害人畜.一个出身捕蛇世家的青年女医生智擒这两条大花蟒,为民除了害.消息刊出后,一读者来信说这消息是假的,经查实,除了稿中的时间、地点外、人名及内容都是作者凭空虚构的.这种失实报道,是一个不可忽视的问题.新闻用事实说话,不用事实说话,就不是新闻.
