PROBLEM PROBLEMS When the finite element method is used to analyze rock foundation stress (in this case, the plane problem), it often encounters simulation problems of interlayers, joints and cracks. However, no matter whether it is a sandwich or a crack, it will not be infinitely continuous. Within the range considered, that is, within the grid diagram divided, the pinch-out phenomenon of the sandwich may occur. At this point, what kind of mechanical model is used for sharp extinction?
