昆明国家高新区作为西部高新区的一员,15年来,经过广大创业者的共同努力,在带动、引领区域经济发展中发挥了重要的作用,成为造就创新型企业、企业家的摇篮,是我国西部的一块创新高地。2007年8月22日,昆明高新区建区15周年庆祝大会隆重举行。国家科技部副部长曹健林,国家环保总局副局长吴晓青,科技部党组成员、科技日报社社长张景安,云南省委常委、昆明市委书记杨崇勇,云南省委常委、常务副省长罗正富,云南省委常委、楚雄州州委书记曹建方等领导以及参加第五届全国高新区主任联席会议的代表出席了会议。全国人大常委会副委员长成思危、全国政协副主席黄孟复为庆祝会发来贺信。与会领导和代表对昆明高新区15年来取得的成绩给予了充分肯定,并祝福昆明高新区在未来的发展中能乘风破浪,实现跨越式发展。会上宣读了《国家发改委关于认定昆明国家生物产业基地的批复》和《国家环境保护工业资源循环利用工程技术中心批复》。罗正富为昆明国家生物产业基地授牌。昆明高新区管委会主任张兴华在会上作工作报告。会上还对在昆明高新区开发建设中做出突出贡献的先进单位和个人进行了表彰。
